BlightMass is a Death Metal band from Lyon (France) and Tampa (Florida, U.S.A.) which was founded in 2014 under the moniker « Purgatory Unleashed » by Nattewølf and Enteronecrophile. The band draws its inspiration from the Old School Floridian and Swedish Death Metal scene with Black Metal influences. After a few demos with different line-up changes, the band recorded their first album intitled « Severed From Your Soul » with the American death metal singer Jesse Jolly (ex-Amon). BlightMass already shared the stage with bands from the death metal scene like Cannabis Corpse, Sadistic Intent, Hysteria and Mythridatic...

 From the heart of Vicenza, Italy, Bloodfield return with their most ambitious and punishing work to date: Homunculus Sapiens. Faster, heavier and filthier than their debut Sinners or Liars (2016), this new chapter takes the band’s thrash foundations into its event horizon and drags them deep into the chaos of human despair.

Lyrically, Homunculus Sapiens is a descent into the darkest corners of the mind — violence, existential struggle, and mental illness — but not without a spark of hope. Through storytelling drenched in raw emotion, the album is all about what awakens the demons that hide in plain sight.

Among its tracks you’ll find:

“Solitude Pt.1” – the opening track, pulling us into an insomnia-fueled spiral of madness. 

“Nightmare” – a story of regret that claws at the listener long after the final note.

“Just Like That” – an explosive outburst of alcohol-driven homicidal rage.

Recorded independently and mastered by Jens Bogren, Homunculus Sapiens captures the band’s evolution in both sound and vision: thrash metal sharpened to a deadly edge, ready to resonate with diehard metal veterans and ignite new listeners alike.

Held By Evil is the debut full-length album from Burial Ruthless, the Spain-based technical death metal band originally formed in Venezuela. The record dives deep into themes of corruption, oppression, psychological collapse, and the destruction of human identity, unfolding across 11 tracks as a dark conceptual journey fueled by violence, fear, and manipulation.

Blending progressive brutal death metal with technical precision, Burial Ruthless balances chaotic complexity with the raw aggression of old-school death metal. The result is a modern, oppressive sound built on intense atmospheres, unpredictable structures, and relentless brutality.
